External Sales Manager – Hydraulics & Fluid Power
Territory: Herefordshire & Worcester, West Midlands, Birmingham & South Wales
£40,000 – £50,000 Basic + Bonus + Company Car + Benefits
Flowtech Fluidpower is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer / External Sales Manager to develop and grow an established territory across Herefordshire & Worcester, West Midlands, Birmingham & South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with experience in industrial product sales, ideally within hydraulics, pneumatics or fluid power, to join the UK’s largest distributor in the sector.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with industrial distributors, engineering companies and manufacturing customers, identifying new opportunities and delivering technical sales solutions across the region.
The Role
This is a field-based position where you will take ownership of a key territory and develop long-term relationships with customers across industrial and engineering markets.
Working with Flowtech’s extensive product portfolio and supported by internal technical and customer service teams, you will help customers identify the right hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid power solutions for their applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop sales across the territory: Herefordshire & Worcester, West Midlands, Birmingham & South Wales
* Manage and grow relationships with industrial distributors and engineering customers
* Identify new opportunities within manufacturing, OEM and engineering sectors
* Promote Flowtech’s range of hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid power products
* Deliver structured territory planning and proactive sales activity
* Work closely with internal sales, suppliers and technical support teams
* Achieve and exceed agreed sales and growth targets
About You
* Experience in external sales, sales engineering or technical sales
* Background in industrial or engineering product sales
* Experience working with distribution networks
* Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or fluid power systems would be highly advantageous
* Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated with excellent territory management abilities
* Full UK driving licence
