Introduction:
We are recruiting for an M&E Support Technician / Semi-Skilled Labourer to join a company who provide maintenance solutions and technical support to large process plants including Power Stations, CHP Plants, Petrochemical and Aggregate Production Facilities. This role will involve travel to sites across Essex & the South East of England to provide support with labouring, industrial cleaning, mobile plant operations & basic maintenance activities.
Role & Responsibilities:
As an M&E Support Technician / Semi-Skilled Labourer, you will be responsible for:
Acting as a Fitter's mate & carrying out basic maintenance activities on site
Performing labouring, industrial cleaning & housekeeping duties
Operating & driving mobile plant with training & tickets provided for telehandlers & loading shovels
Ensuring adherence with health & safety requirements at all times
Other duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
In order to be considered for this role, you will need:
Proven experience in a similar role working on heaving engineering / industrial plants
A full & clean UK driving licence and be happy to travel to various sites across Essex & the South East of England
You must be 18+ (for insurance purposes) and be comfortable and fit enough to lift / move heavy items
You will need to be able to operate various machinery such as telehandlers & loading shovels, although training & tickets can be provided
Salary & Package:
What's on offer for this exciting role:
Competitive salary of between £22,000 to £27,000 depending on experience
Company van & fuel card (for business use only)
Overtime
Training, PPE, uniform etc. will be provided
25 days holidays plus bank holidays
