The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Paediatric Therapies teams.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work across the Fylde Coast within the Paediatric Admin Therapy Teams. They must be able to work flexibly, use their own initiative and organisational skills to complete tasks.
The role involves providing and maintaining a high‑quality secretarial, administrative and information service to the Paediatric Therapy teams, acting as a central reference point for all staff within the service, including clinicians, managers, Trust stakeholders and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high‑quality secretarial and administrative support.
* Maintaining confidentiality in all tasks.
* Managing and prioritising own workload without direct supervision.

Education and Qualifications
* English GCSE or equivalent
* Maths GCSE or equivalent
Experience and Knowledge
* Extensive clerical experience
* Experience working with the general public
* Telephone duties
* Ability to work in a highly confidential and sensitive manner
* IT skills – sound knowledge and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook on a regular basis
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Experience of diffusing difficult situations
* Experience of arranging meetings, including preparation of agendas and taking minutes
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to allocate and delegate work
* Proven history of developing databases and analysing information
