Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEND profiles Adapt curriculum content and learning materials to meet a wide range of needs Provide a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Support pupils with personal care, physical needs, or medical routines where required Develop and deliver targeted interventions for communication, social skills, literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation Collaborate closely with the SENCO, support staff, therapists, and multi-agency teams Monitor progress against EHCP outcomes and contribute to reviews and assessments Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and families We Are Looking For Someone Who: Is an experienced SEN Teacher with strong knowledge of SEND strategies Is confident supporting pupils with personal care Has experience with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, or complex learning difficulties Demonstrates calm, nurturing behaviour management and a child-centred approach Can adapt teaching creatively to engage pupils working at a variety of levels Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with staff, families, and professionals Is resilient, reflective, and committed to inclusive education What We Offer: A warm, inclusive, and supportive staff team A well-resourced SEND provision Regular CPD and opportunities for professional growth Strong leadership support and a positive school culture Pupils who are rewarding to work with and thrive on consistent, personalised support
