About the Role
Starfish 9 Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA team and uphold the highest standards of product and service quality across the organisation. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and oversee the implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures
· Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
· Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
· Manage and mentor QA staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
· Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
· Report on quality performance to senior management
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
· Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control leadership role
· Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
· Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards
· Demonstrated ability to lead audits and implement corrective actions
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in using quality management software and tools
· Degree or equivalent qualification in Quality Management, Construction, or a related field
· Safety certifications related to working at height
Desirable:
· Drone License
· Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
· NVQ Level 6 Senior Site Inspection
· First Aid Certification
