Those huge, small victories

Our residential houses accommodate young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs; and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in our care.

Working in our Residential Houses means being a part of a young person’s day-to-day life and being there for the highest highs and lowest lows. Our Residential Support Workers enable our young people to regain their childhood and create pathways to become well-rounded adults – an incredibly rewarding role.

Our support workers find fulfillment in making even small positive changes in our young people, celebrating the little things. Despite challenges, small moments can feel like huge victories!

Get out what you put in.

You will care for the daily needs of our young people and create lasting memories. We offer a 24-hour curriculum supporting young people to attend school, develop independent living skills, participate in activities, complete paperwork, and create a homely, happy environment.

Evenings and weekends are for fun—playing Xbox, football, going to the cinema, or go-karting. It’s a great way to spend your workday!

Working at Cedar House School is engaging and meaningful. We focus on understanding each young person’s needs, personality, and potential, guiding them toward a positive future. Building trusting, meaningful relationships is key, with young people seeing us as positive role models.

“Changing Lives, Building Futures” - We really do make a difference at Cedar House School

The state-of-the-art residential environment offers a 24-hour curriculum in a homely, personalized setting, helping young people develop skills, confidence, and achieve academic and life successes. We were recently rated Good in Education and Outstanding in Residential provision.
