Key Responsibilities
* Represent clients at police stations and magistrates’ courts
* Manage a varied criminal defence caseload
* Provide high-quality legal advice and advocacy
* Participate in the duty rota as required
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of criminal law and procedures
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture
What We’re Looking For
* Duty Solicitor accreditation (essential)
* Minimum 1 year PQE in UK criminal law practice
* Strong advocacy, client care, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Experience managing a busy and varied caseload
