Role Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support marketing analytics and performance analysis initiatives. This three-month remote internship provides structured exposure to real marketing datasets, analytical reporting processes and commercial decision-making frameworks.
You will assist in analysing digital marketing data, interpreting campaign performance metrics and preparing dashboards that support optimisation strategies. Under supervision, you will gain practical experience in applying data analysis techniques within a growth-focused marketing environment.
This role is suited to individuals who are genuinely interested in understanding how data drives revenue, customer acquisition and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with data analysis across paid and organic marketing channels
Support data cleaning, validation and structured dataset preparation
Analyse key performance indicators (KPls) including traffic, engagement, conversion rates and return on ad spend
Contribute to the development of dashboards and performance reports
Support marketing analytics using Excel, Google Sheets or data visualisation tools
Assist with basic SQL queries or structured data extraction where applicable
Contribute to trend identification, performance insights and optimisation recommendations
Maintain accuracy and consistency within reporting systems
Skills and Qualifications:
Foundational understanding of data analysis, marketing analytics or data analytics through coursework or academic projects
Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis
Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms is desirable
Exposure to SQL, Python or data visualisation tools is advantageous but not essential
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
Demonstrated curiosity about how data influences marketing performance
Comfortable working in a remote professional environment
No prior professional experience is required. Structured mentorship and guidance in marketing data analysis will be provided throughout the internship.
