Job Description
A leading design and build company within the water industry is seeking a proactive and strategic Engineering Resource Manager to enhance and manage our engineering workforce planning. This pivotal role involves forecasting resource needs, supporting recruitment, coordinating internal and external teams, and developing a long-term resourcing strategy. This is a permanent position with hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Forecast and manage engineering resource demand (3–5 year outlook)
2. Develop and implement strategic resourcing plans
3. Support recruitment campaigns and talent retention initiatives
4. Coordinate resource allocation across internal teams and external design houses
5. Drive graduate and apprenticeship intakes
6. Build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders

* Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
* Background in engineering/design with experience in talent acquisition
* Innovative, data-driven, and strategic thinker
* Confident managing cross-functional teams and resourcing frameworks
