Electronics Kitter
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Electronic Kitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience in the electronics industry, they will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production kitting and warehouse by handling various tasks related to the storage, shipping, and receiving of goods. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.
Key Responsibilities
* Inventory Management: receiving goods, ensure correct storage, and issuance of electronic / mechanical parts and materials. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and movements.
* Inventory Management, control and complete stock checks to ensure records are accurate and controlled.
* Despatch: Ensure all products are shipped on-time and to the highest quality standard.
* Quality Control; Ensure all parts and materials are of high quality and in good condition, take steps to prevent damage or loss of inventory.
* Works Order Processing; Manage the processing of requests for parts, materials and component kits. Ensure all work is carried out to a high and accurate standard of workmanship and within suitable timeframes to meet project deadlines.
* Understand and follow ESD requirements for safe component handling and storage
* Safety Compliance; Ensure that all safety rules and procedures are followed in the handling and storage of parts and materials.
* Maintain a clean safe working environment
Requirements
* Previous experience in an electronics warehouse and or kitting setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with electronics components and mechanical material handling techniques and equipment.
* Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
* Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding quality control processes.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
