SEN Teacher - Birmingham (B14) - Start ASAP

Aspire People are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in the B14 area of Birmingham. This is a long‑term role starting ASAP, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them progress both academically and emotionally.
About the Role
You'll be working with students across KS3 and KS4 who may have a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, or communication and interaction difficulties. The role involves planning differentiated lessons, creating a nurturing and structured learning environment, and working closely with support staff and the SENCO to ensure each pupil receives tailored support.
Strong behaviour‑management skills, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships with students are essential. Teachers from both mainstream and specialist settings are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience working with SEN pupils (mainstream or specialist)
Strong behaviour‑management and de‑escalation skills
A calm, adaptable, and empathetic approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
