Job Description
* Conducting regular on-site inspections of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Performing preventive maintenance on the systems to ensure reliability.
* Executing timely repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimise downtime.
* Implementing effective troubleshooting strategies to resolve operational problems.
* Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance.
* Collaborating with engineering teams to execute upgrades and modernisation projects.
* Being on-call to respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
* Maintaining accurate records of system maintenance activities and repairs and creating detailed reports on the condition and performance of fluid power systems.
* Offering technical support and guidance to maintenance teams as needed.
The Successful Applicant
* Demonstrated expertise in maintaining, repairing, and installing fluid power systems, including compressed air and hydraulic components.
* Proven ability to work efficiently on customer sites and providing effective solutions.
* Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, with flexibility to respond to service calls promptly.
* Strong commitment to adhering to RAMS and health and safety requirements, ensuring a secure working environment for both yourself and others.
* Effective communication with customers, project managers, and team members to convey technical information and ensure a collaborative working relationship.
