Cumbria - Maryport area
Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
Salary £29,000 (increasing to £32,000 upon passing probation) plus great benefits including Health Cash Plan
Join us as a Housing Manager at Home Group
In our housing team in Maryport, you will be the face-to-face support for our estates, ensuring safe homes and communities where people want to live, while also maximizing income. You’ll provide first-class customer service and deliver our customer promise every day!
Typical day as a Housing Manager
1. Engage with customers and be visible on estates to understand our communities better.
2. Manage multiple patches and neighborhoods, supported by Community Housing Assistants.
3. Proactively manage anti-social behaviors, respond to queries and complaints.
4. Handle voids process, liaising with local authorities.
5. Conduct estate inspections, engage with contractors, and perform safety and compliance checks.

About You
* Experience in housing sector, understanding of housing management, law, and ideally universal credit.
* Willingness to work towards Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3.
* Super organized, proactive, and positive attitude.
* Passionate about customer service and helping others.
* Resilient, especially when dealing with complaints.
* Confident working with external partners like local authorities and MPs.
* Enjoy working in teams but also comfortable working independently on estates.

Job Details
1. Hybrid role: 3 days in the community, 2 days in the office or remote.
2. Flexible working hours; discuss your needs during the interview.
3. Mostly Monday to Friday, occasional evenings for customer meetings.
4. Must have a vehicle insured for business; mileage paid.
5. Standard DBS check required, paid by us.
