About the Role
SDH Developments Ltd, a wholly‑owned subsidiary of the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, provides pharmacy services to patients and visitors at Torbay Hospital. We are seeking a pharmacy technician who is already qualified or prepared to train as an accuracy‑checking technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Dispense medicines to patients.
* Order and receive stock.
* Deliver an efficient and effective ‘front‑of‑house’ service to customers, including the sale of medicines.
* Support day‑to‑day operation of the pharmacy.
* Perform final accuracy checks on prescriptions as required.
Qualifications
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Possess excellent communication, organisational and customer‑service skills.
* Effective team player.
* Pharmacy technician qualification, or willingness to train as an accuracy‑checking technician.
