Technical Business Analyst - Credit & Counterparty Risk
Contract: 6 Months - View to extend
Rate: Up to £700/day (Inside IR35)
Location: London - 5 days onsite
We are supporting a major investment bank seeking a Technical Business Analyst to deliver enhancements to credit and counterparty credit risk reporting and infrastructure. The role will work closely with risk, business, and technology teams to streamline reporting, improve monitoring, and support risk initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Deliver improvements to credit and counterparty risk reporting.
* Analyse processes and systems to identify efficiency and automation opportunities.
* Capture and validate business and technical requirements.
* Support model validation, data mapping, and reporting frameworks.
* Collaborate with stakeholders on end-of-day and intraday risk monitoring.
* Define test strategies, support UAT, and assist with production updates.
Required Experience
* 5+ years in credit or counterparty risk within investment banking.
* Strong knowledge of PFE, VaR, CVA, and Expected Shortfall.
* Experience with FraimWRX, Murex, or other risk/pricing engines.
* Experience delivering risk reporting solutions across IR, FX, and Loan products.
Skills
* SQL, Excel/VBA, .NET, plus exposure to Python or SAS
* Power BI for reporting; Control-M experience a plus
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
