Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
* Transform project layouts and specifications into precise design solutions.
* Define system integration drawings, unit cycle times, and throughput requirements.
* Develop detailed mechanical drawings and parts lists for conveyor systems.
* Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to drive project success.
* Support system risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Liaise with purchasing, operations, and documentation teams to facilitate seamless execution.
* Innovate new designs and product enhancements to meet market needs.
Who You Are
* You hold an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering (a degree is a plus!).
* You have design experience in materials handling, with expertise in conveying systems.
* You are proficient in CAD tools, preferably AutoCAD.
* You enjoy problem-solving, teamwork, and tackling complex engineering challenges.
* You are willing to travel to customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
