Job Description

As part of the Utility Computing organization, you will develop and manage services in compute, database, storage, IoT, platform, and productivity app areas, supporting customers who need specialized security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Own and operate large‑scale cloud services in a 24/7 production environment
* Troubleshoot, innovate fixes, and implement workarounds for Linux‑based services
* Use networking knowledge to diagnose connectivity issues
* Automate manual processes and implement operational excellence best practices
* Collaborate with senior engineers to diagnose root causes and define solutions
* Communicate clearly and help customers resolve pain points quickly
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Strong fundamentals in networking
* Experience working in a 24/7 production environment
* Experience with Linux systems administration and/or development
* Proficiency in at least two of Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, or Bash/Shell
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of configuration management systems such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
* Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, security administration, or network administration
* Experience with network capture and systems troubleshooting
* Experience building scripts, tooling, and automation for large‑scale computing environments
