Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trailers, accurately picking orders, and utilising hand scanners to manage stock. This position calls for a commitment to physical fitness, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on safety in a dynamic environment. Pay and Shifts Most are Monday to Friday Shifts - Day and night shifts available Basic Pay: £14.89* (6 AM - 7 PM) Twilight Pay: £16.50* (7 PM - 10 PM) Night Pay: £16.83* (10 PM - 6 AM) Overtime after 39 hours: £22.35/hour* Generous pay for bank holidays and Sundays: £29.79/hour*Requirements To ensure a smooth induction process, candidates should have a good understanding of English for a 2-hour Health & Safety training. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers. Utilise hand scanners for precise order processing. Sort and store goods with care. Prepare pallets for dispatch. Verify goods against delivery notes for accuracy. Uphold cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.Skills and Qualifications Previous experience with loading/unloading trailers or heavy goods preferred. Comfort with hand scanners is essential. Must be physically fit for manual tasks. Reliable, team-oriented, and possess basic numeracy and literacy skills.
