Learning Support Assistant with SEND

A diverse and inclusive school in Redbridge are looking for Secondary Learning Support Assistants to join their school to cover Teaching Assistants who are absent from school.
The Role
In this role you will be supporting pupils with additional learning needs across both Key stage 3 and key stage 4. You will work closely with the pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons. You should have a calm and consistent approach and be committed to supporting pupils to make progress and overcome learning barriers. If you have experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language or MLD then this is an advantage but not necessarily needed for this role as its a general Secondary role.
You will work closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers, providing assessments and reports.
This role is offered on a day to day basis.
