Due to the continued growth and success of the firm, we are looking for an experienced and innovative environmental professional to shape and drive the firms global environmental strategy and lead us on our pathway to Net Zero by 2045 or before.

Working closely with the Head of Responsible Business, you will provide support and input into the wider responsible business strategy from an environmental perspective.
Job description: What You'll Do:
Develop and deliver the firms environmental sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and client requirements, and lead the implementation of related policies, plans, and KPIs.
Manage environmental data collection, analysis, verification, and KPI tracking to ensure accurate reporting, and maintain the firms environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., ESOS, SECR, CFD), coordinating with consultants and producing annual CPD and other relevant submissions.
Act as a trusted expert advisor on environmental and sustainability matters, building strong relationships across business services teams to operationalise the sustainability strategy.
Support the preparation of bids, pitches, and client requests for environmental information, and collaborate with the Procurement team to integrate sustainability into the supply chain.
Manage relationships with external carbon accountants and environmental consultants, and create a strong external network with peer firms, environmental organisations, and public bodies.
Develop and implement engagement and communications plans, produces stakeholder reports, delivers environmental training, and maintains up-to-date environmental content on the intranet, website, and annual Responsible Business Report.
Required profile: Who We're Looking For:
Strong knowledge of environmental management with relevant experience in an aligned professional services environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements, management systems and the ISO14001 accreditation.
Confident with data management and analysis, with a good knowledge of greenhouse gas/carbon accounting, target setting and progress reporting.
Professional membership level of a relevant professional body preferred (e.g., (IEMA/CIEEM/CIWEM).
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
A self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment, with advanced planning and organisational skills.
