JOB PURPOSE:
We are looking for an energetic, customer‑driven Self‑Store Manager to take ownership of the day‑to‑day operations of our self‑storage facility while actively growing new business within the local community. This is a hands‑on role combining site management, customer service, and proactive sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Take full responsibility for the daily operation and performance of the self‑storage facility
* Drive revenue growth for both the storage site and the local moving service through proactive sales and lead conversion
* Carry out home visits from qualified leads to identify customer needs and increase branch revenue
* Handle customer enquiries, bookings, contracts, and payments
* Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service, ensuring every customer has a positive experience
* Maintain site security, cleanliness, and health & safety standards
* Conduct regular unit inspections and basic maintenance checks
* Manage stock availability
* Deliver excellent customer service at all time
KPI’s:
* Maximizing every customer lead to increase branch revenue via bookings.
* Price accurately in accordance to demand in order to create long term storage occupancy
* Achieve company targets with effective management of P&L review
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
* Experience of Self‑store & warehouse stock control procedures.
* Proven ability to manage, motivate, and coach a small team
* Good understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
* Excellent IT and administration skills.
* Experience in sales, lead generation, or after‑sales customer service is highly desirable
* Hold a valid and current UK driving licence.
* Holder of valid First Aid Certificate (desirable)).
