Cult Beauty is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Copywriter to join the brand team. This role will support the creation of engaging copy across multiple marketing channels while helping to uphold the Cult Beauty tone of voice.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, strong writing skills, and an interest in social content and emerging trends. They will support storytelling across campaigns, social platforms and Cult Beauty Edit launches, while assisting with wider business copy requests.
Responsibilities
* Support the creation of social‑first copy across all social media channels
* Write engaging, on‑brand content tailored to different platforms and audiences
* Contribute creative ideas during content planning and campaign brainstorms
* Stay up to date with current social trends, cultural moments and beauty conversations
* Assist with copywriting and storytelling for Cult Beauty Edit boxes across marketing touchpoints
* Help maintain the Cult Beauty tone of voice across all written communications
* Support wider marketing initiatives with campaign and promotional copy where required
* Assist with ad‑hoc copy briefs for affiliates, PR and trade requests
* Collaborate closely with social, creative, marketing and brand teams
* Proofread and check copy for accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand guidelines
Skills and Experience
* Some experience in a copywriting, content or marketing role through work, internships or freelance projects
* Strong writing skills with an understanding of social media content
* Passion for beauty, skincare, makeup and industry trends
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills
* Understanding of tone of voice and brand consistency
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Positive, proactive and collaborative attitude
