Our Day/PM Shift typically runs from 14:00 to 23:00, Monday to Sunday, working any 5 days in 7.

Job Purpose:
The Day Shift Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role working with our Operations Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at our Depot, leading teams of Sorters and Drivers handling parcels from client sites to final delivery.
About the Role:
You’ll be a vital member of the Depot Management team, supporting your team through strong people management, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will supervise a mix of contracted and agency staff during day shifts, which are critical for processing returns and parcels collected from Parcel Shops.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and train team members to meet SLA targets for the day shift
* Process MI reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders
* Manage all aspects of the day parcel shop operations, including sortation and transportation efficiently and cost-effectively
* People Management – recruitment, induction, engagement, performance, and attendance management, including daily debriefs and weekly reports
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements, manage driver working hours, breaks, shifts, and rest periods
* Plan routes and manage rosters for effective parcel delivery
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Experience managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment is advantageous
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and data reporting
* Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Flexible approach to meet business needs
