We are looking for a Hospitality Assessor and Tutor (22.2 hours per week, all year) to join our team. In this role, you'll support and guide apprentices across various hospitality programmes, including Commis Chef and Food Production, helping them develop their skills and confidence both in the classroom and workplace.
What you will do as an Assessor and Tutor
* Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and workshops that bring hospitality to life.
* Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey, from induction to achievement.
* Visit apprentices in workplaces, building strong relationships with employers (expenses reimbursed).
* Create and assess assignments that challenge and inspire.
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
Experience/Qualifications of an Assessor and Tutor
* Be a qualified professional with experience in the catering or hospitality industry (Level 3 or above).
* Have Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe).
* Have a Level 3 Assessor Award (or be willing to obtain during employment).
* Enjoy mentoring and have a knack for motivating learners.
* Be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
* Be a team player, comfortable working independently.
