Our client, a global fintech leader transforming banking, payments, and regulatory data solutions, is seeking a German-speaking Business Development Manager to onboard, own and grow strategic accounts across German banks and payments institutions.
This is a high-visibility role with clear progression to Enterprise Lead, where you’ll combine deep relationship management with targeted new-business growth.
What you’ll do
* Lead and grow strategic German banking + payments accounts
* Drive renewals, upsell & cross-sell across SaaS, data, and regulatory intelligence solutions
* Build executive relationships across C-Suite, Risk, Compliance, Payments, Technology & Business leaders
* Own the full commercial cycle: account planning → outreach → proposals → negotiation → forecasting
* Collaborate closely with presales, product, and customer success teams
* Travel to Germany for key meetings and industry events
What you’ll bring
* Native/near-native German+ fluent English
* 5+ years selling into banks or payments institutions in Germany / DACH
* Proven track record in enterprise renewals, account expansion, and net-new business
* Strong pipeline discipline and commercial rigor
* Credibility with senior FS stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, Payments, CTO/CIO)
* Bonus: experience in AML/KYC, sanctions, fraud, treasury, payments, or core banking solutions
