We are on the lookout for an experienced TIG Welder to support a contract based in Alloa
Key Responsibilities:
TIG Welding background
Working on 1/2" -3" Duplex pipe
Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds
Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project progression
Job Requirements:
Experience in pipe welding within the nuclear/oil & gas/marine industries
Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
Experience working with Duplex
A solid understanding of pipe welding safety practices and procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and precision in work
Flexibility to work onsite at a different client location
Capability to work extended hours when necessary
Job Duration and Location:
Contract duration c. 7 weeks
Initial location: Renfrew, then Alloa
Paid 50 hour week
£30/h PAYE plus £3.62/h holiday pay or £40.18/h Umb Co. Can go CIS
