Job description
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our lunchtime and play team to support, inspire and engage children at Gosbecks Primary School to be the best you can be. This is a fixed term position until July 2026 (this may continue). The hours are Monday to Friday 11.45am - 1.15pm – term time only.
Pay scale is Scale 2, Point 3-4, Actual salary £4202 - £4268 pa.
Responsibilities
* Supervising children in the lunch hall and classrooms
* Supervising our OPAL play zones encouraging all types of play (https://outdoorplayandlearning.org.uk/)
* Preparing the dinner hall for lunch and clearing away afterwards
* Encouraging healthy eating
* Administering first aid
* Respecting the need for confidentiality
* Supporting children with additional needs
