Overview
As a Stores Laboratory Support Worker in the Blood Sciences Department, you will work under the supervision of qualified scientists to deliver a fit‑for‑purpose, 24/7 medical laboratory service analysing and reporting on blood, urine, faeces and other body materials.
Responsibilities
* Perform delegated tasks essential for the delivery of a continuous, high‑quality laboratory service.
* Support efficient patient care and effective resource management within the hospital.
* Collaborate with experienced scientists and scientific assistants in a fast‑paced diagnostic environment.
* Maintain quality service delivery and uphold patient safety and dignity.
Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of laboratory services.
* Demonstrated capacity to learn and develop with a drive to deliver excellent service.
* Strong team‑working skills and effective communication.
* Welsh speaking ability desirable; Welsh or English speakers welcome.
