A community-driven, high-performing secondary school in Stroud is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SENCO to lead their SEND provision from September 2025. This role is central to the school's inclusive ethos and student success strategy.
About the Role:
The SENCO will lead on SEND strategy, compliance, and provision, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies. The school supports a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, SLCN, and SPLD, and has invested significantly in training and inclusion infrastructure.
Main Duties:

Oversee the SEND register, provision mapping, EHCPs, and interventions
*
Line-manage a dedicated team of TAs and LSAs
*
Lead staff training and whole-school inclusive pedagogy
*
Maintain strong relationships with external professionals and parents
Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher with NASENCO (or working towards)
*
Strong legal and practical knowledge of SEND provision
*
Experienced in working with a range of SEND needs and pathways
*
Organised, strategic, and empathetic leader
