👋 The Opportunity


A venture-backed, early-stage company is looking for a commercially minded, client-focused Co-Founder to lead growth, operations, and the day-to-day running of the business.


This is an opportunity to step into a founder seat at an inflection point. The business has proven demand with early clients and is focused on scaling - targeting a clear path to breakeven over the next 12 months. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on building, problem-solving, and making things happen.


💼 The Role


As Co-Founder, you’ll take full ownership of the commercial and operational side of the business. You’ll be the driving force behind revenue growth, client delivery, and building the operational foundation for scale—while also playing a key role in shaping the product and proposition.


This role requires someone who is equally comfortable navigating medium-sized, multi-stakeholder organisations and working with smaller, agile clients, often through partners. You will partner closely with a technical/product founder responsible for delivery frameworks and product development.


⏰ Key Responsibilities


1. Drive Growth & Revenue

* Lead founder-led sales: own pipeline, lead client conversations, negotiate, and close deals (direct and via partners).
* Build and grow long-term client relationships, ensuring retention, expansion, and satisfaction.
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing services.


2. Own Client Success & Delivery

* Lead delivery of client engagements - ensuring high quality, high impact, and scalable outcomes.
* Navigate complex client organisations with multiple stakeholders, as well as smaller, fast-moving businesses.
* Manage partner relationships that support client delivery or drive growth.


3. Shape Proposition & Commercial Strategy

* Act as the voice of the customer and the market - gather insights and trends to shape the product, service offering, and commercial strategy.
* Collaborate closely with the technical founder to prioritise development and refine how the offering meets client needs.
* Continuously improve and adapt the commercial proposition based on feedback and market opportunities.


4. Lead Operations & Scaling

* Build operational processes, systems, and rhythms that support efficient growth.
* Manage day-to-day operations including team leadership, project management, and internal delivery.
* Take shared ownership of the financial plan - including delivering the strategy to reach breakeven within 12 months.


5. Represent the Business & Build Market Presence

* Be a visible representative of the business externally - building the brand, attending industry events, and developing networks and partnerships that drive growth.

* A relationship-driven commercial operator - someone who thrives in client-facing roles, builds trust quickly, and knows how to navigate complex organisations.
* A proven leader - you’ve run teams, functions, or major projects in a startup, scale-up, or entrepreneurial environment. You’re ready to step into full business leadership.
* A hands-on builder who enjoys wearing multiple hats - comfortable moving between strategy and execution, commercial conversations, delivery, and operations.
* Commercially strong - you know how to drive revenue, lead sales processes, grow client accounts, and deliver value.
* Experienced in commercial product thinking - you bring customer insight into the business to help refine the proposition, prioritise features or services, and inform growth strategy.
* Comfortable leading delivery - whether it’s designing how work gets done or overseeing execution to ensure excellent client outcomes.
* Pragmatic, outcome-focused, and comfortable with ambiguity - you figure things out, solve problems, and make things happen.
* Ideally, you bring:
* Experience working with or selling into the public sector, with the ability to navigate public procurement and stakeholder complexity.
* Existing networks in relevant industries, sectors, or ecosystems that could accelerate growth.
* Experience working with clients across both medium-sized organisations (with multiple stakeholders) and smaller, faster-moving clients.
