Governance and Board Support Officer Location: London - Hybrid (2 office days per week) Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 per annum Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping strong governance at Wandle? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Governance and Board Support Officer who will act as our Deputy Company Secretary, supporting the smooth running of our Board and governance functions. You will support the Head of Governance in their day to day duties, including managing our signing and sealing process and statutory registers. Key Responsibilities: Lead the coordination of Board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers, and minutes Producing high quality minutes for Wandle Board meetings and two committees Manage statutory registers, signing and sealing processes, and ensure compliance with standing orders Support governance activities across Wandle and its subsidiaries, including Shared Services for Housing, our procurement subsidiary. Assist with data protection tasks and contribute to the delivery of our annual report and Board development Provide high-quality briefings, reports, and presentations to senior stakeholders What We’re Looking For: Experience taking detailed minutes and working with Board applications (e.g. Convene) Strong understanding of governance in social housing or a related sector Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and a proactive mindset Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work to a high standard A corporate governance or company secretary qualification (or working towards one) is highly desirable Join us and help drive excellence in governance at Wandle.
