An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and growing firm based in Tiverton. This role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload within a supportive environment, with strong administrative and technical backing.
The Role
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of private client matters, including Wills and Probate, Court of Protection and Powers of Attorney work. You will manage your own caseload with a good degree of autonomy while also working collaboratively within the wider team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising clients clearly and effectively, progressing matters from instruction through to completion
* Managing files in accordance with regulatory and internal compliance standards
* Supporting colleagues with additional workload where required
* Meeting with clients, assessing their needs and drafting relevant legal documentation
* Providing accurate legal advice, including statutory interpretation and application of relevant legislation
* Maintaining accurate time recording and billing in a timely manner
The Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE in private client work, or an experienced non-qualified professional with equivalent expertise
* Strong technical knowledge across private client matters
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Able to manage a caseload independently
* Professional, reliable and self-motivated approach
* Strong communication and client care skills
