What we are looking for:
An opportunity has opened up within the Genesis Piping and Layout delivery group for those seeking to further their career development within our Project and Discipline Engineering Delivery Team.
The role is open to those early in their engineering career looking to expand their knowledge and expertise across a number of key markets. They would become a key member of the Piping and Layout delivery group supporting the existing team and lead engineer deliver Piping and Layout input to early phase multi-discipline consultancy studies.
In addition to multi-discipline study input there will be opportunities to develop further skills in Piping and Layout focussed studies, including Onshore, Offshore, Greenfield and Brownfield concepts as well as supporting Genesis further developing understanding of Piping and Layout considerations for our ever growing Energy Transition related studies.
The position requires a forward thinking engineer who is happy take on new challenges with the support of the discipline lead to develop and challenge piping and layout concepts working with the latest technology and industry standards and guidance.
In return, the position will provide the opportunity to join a successful and dynamic team and will present significant opportunities for professional and personal growth, working in Hydrogen Generation, Carbon Capture, Energy Transition, lower carbon energy delivery as well as traditional oil and gas related work
This role is to join, and become a core staff member of, the Piping & Layout, Mechanical and Construction delivery group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of ultra front-end project delivery, targeting value add contributions to support robust early-phase key project decision making. This will be across a broad and diverse range of studies for our extensive client base. You will also be given the opportunity to develop and broaden your experience and competence in the delivery of multi-discipline advisory services
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Participating in all Piping and Layout discipline activities including preparation and checking of documents, philosophies, specifications, procedures, standards, data sheets etc.;
* Contribute to front-end multi-discipline engineering studies, providing key piping & layout input;
* Brownfield cost estimation for piping & layout activities;
* Carry out varied piping & layout engineering studies as per client scope of work;
* Facilitate client facing layout and design reviews
* Work in conjunction with designer(s) to execute piping & layout input to varied studies
* Participating safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA etc.);
* Ensuring instrument, piping & layout discipline design is performed in compliance with project requirements and satisfies all relevant safety and quality standards;
* Preparation, in conjunction with other disciplines, study reports, technical notes and piping equipment specifications.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree Qualifiedin relevant engineering subject;
* Previous experience as Piping and Layout Engineer.
* Full command of English language written and spoken;
* Good broad computer literacy with competence in MS office applications.
Advantageous:
* Chartered Engineer / working toward Chartered status;
* Experience in Energy Transition and/or low carbon energy delivery;
* Previous experience in a piping and layout designer position
* Experience in performing offshore piping surveys
* Experience in Concept Piping and Layout Engineering (Front End / FEED) for both on and offshore facilities

Genesis Process team is a dynamic group working across a range of assignments from traditional upstream oil and gas developments to emerging energy transition technologies. We are looking for a Senior or Principal Flow Assurance Engineer to provide analysis and technical support to the various Flow Assurance projects undertaken by Genesis. The engineer will be part of the UK flow assurance team and the wider global flow assurance community.
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer with Dynamic Process Simulation expertise to provide practical solutions to our clients’ challenges, including the requirement to decarbonise oil and gas production. You will work on a variety of projects, involved in compressor surge analysis, holistic simulation, control optimisation & validation, process safety time analysis, liquid surge (water-hammer) assessment, HIPPS response times, heat exchanger tube rupture and many more unique issues that are faced by our clients. Working under the mentorship of our dynamic process simulation Subject Matter Expert you will lead several dynamic simulation projects. You will be responsible for supporting and guiding junior engineers, checking their results and reporting to the client.
We are seeking a Consultant CFD Engineer to lead and coordinate CFD personnel, ensure satisfactory performance, be responsible for CFD content and quality, and lead the development of CFD capability in the London office. The main accountabilities include performing CFD simulations, running software, producing technical notes, presenting findings, coordinating personnel, ensuring project scope and standards are understood, directing and monitoring work execution, participating in directive activities, preparing proposals, and traveling as required.
