You will need a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, prior experience working with young people, and the skills to effectively support learning in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities
Your varied and crucial role will focus on motivating our students to reach their full potential. You will be:
• Providing essential support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both within the classroom and in specialised learning bases.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, adapting your approach to meet diverse pupil needs.
• Building successful and trusting relationships with students to encourage their social and educational development.
• Actively contributing to planning and review discussions concerning students with SEND.
• Assisting students with activities outside the classroom, such as school trips and providing exam support (e.g., as a reader or scribe).
