We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of ERM Resilience Risk Steward.
Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), part of Group Risk and Compliance, ensures HSBC maintains robust control over its non-financial risk landscape. Through comprehensive oversight of processes, risks, and controls, ERM safeguards the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory compliance.
Your expertise in technology and cybersecurity risk, regulatory compliance, and financial services operations will be key to strengthening our risk culture and enhancing HSBC’s resilience.

In this role you will:
•Oversee technology risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
•Advise senior leadership on technology and cybersecurity risk.
•Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams.
•Embed effective risk management frameworks and policies.
•Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
•Strong understanding of the Banks Risk Management framework is Desirable.
•An understanding of Risk Management, including Technology Controls.
•Excellent Stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to challenge and influence where necessary.
•Ability to interpret and utilise complex data to form decisions.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role can be based in Birmingham or Sheffield (Hybrid).
