Job Description
3. Lead the end-to-end process for new product development, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
4. Ensure all packaging meets regulatory compliance standards and environmental policies.
5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to achieve project goals.
6. Conduct packaging quality assessments and resolve any non-compliance issues promptly.
7. Stay updated on industry regulations, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements.
8. Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality materials and competitive pricing.
9. Monitor and report on the progress of NPD projects to senior stakeholders.
10. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in packaging processes and sustainability initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful NPD & Packaging Compliance Manager should have:
11. Proven experience in product development and/or packaging compliance within the FMCG industry.
12. A strong understanding of regulatory and environmental requirements related to packaging.
13. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
14. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
16. Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field are desirable.
