It is a highly regarded criminal and regulatory law chambers, now operating from modern premises in the centre of London’s legal district.
Chambers is seeking to recruit a highly effective and organised individual with a proactive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks. This standalone role plays a key part in both the day-to-day oversight and long-term operations of Chambers. The ideal candidate will offer energy and commitment, providing a significant role in the delivery and administration of core aspects of Chambers’ operations.
Key duties include:
* Facilities Management
* Managing onboarding, filing staff contracts, and general support as required
* Management of supplies and external (supplier) relationships
* IT – troubleshooting and acting as the first point of contact
* Supporting the Pupillage (“graduate recruitment”) process
* Policies, Compliance (inc. GDPR and Cyber) and Insurance Management
* Ad hoc support to the Marketing function
The role is offered on a part-time basis, initially, with the core hours of 25 hours per week (ideally delivered evenly Mon-Fri) with a possibility of increasing the hours at a later date. This can be delivered as a hybrid role, with some working from home possible. The successful candidate will need to be flexible with hours, as some weeks may require more time and some less. A background of working in a barristers’ chambers or a similarly fast-paced legal/professional service business would be an advantage.
