Job Summary GP Reimbursement Scheme. Permanent subject to funding. 4 sessions per week. Working days: Monday and Tuesday, Monday and Thursday. Start date: ASAP (Negotiable).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective and responsive GP services.
Manage a varied clinical caseload.
Undertake clinical administration in line with practice procedures.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
Additional responsibilities include:
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
The provision of services commensurate with the GP contract.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effective management of long‑term conditions.
Process administration in a timely manner including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.
Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload.
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.
Take responsibility for continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the organisation.
Attend and contribute effectively to external and internal meetings as required.
Prepare and complete the revalidation process to remain fit to practice.
Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times.
Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Undertake all mandatory training and induction programmes.
Attend a formal appraisal at least every 12 months, with progress review for new objectives.
About Us We are a large, well established training practice based in North Mymms, Hertfordshire, serving a total population of around 17,400 patients, including 8,000 registered students at the University of Hertfordshire. We use SystmOne and AccuRx, operate a triage model, and are a high QOF/ECF achieving practice within Hatfield PCN.

GMC registered with a license to practice.
