Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 9 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.). Experience in Adobe After Effects, including expression writing and plugin use, and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro). Preferred qualifications: Experience with ComfyUI or other node-based/custom generative AI interfaces for image or video creation. Knowledge of scripting languages relevant to motion design (e.g., JavaScript expressions in After Effects, Python for C4D). Understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and composition. Ability to work across creative outputs: brand, communications feature development and product innovation. Responsibilities Concept, design, and animate high-quality motion graphics and visual effects using emerging and industry-standard tools. Take ownership of projects, ensuring all motion work aligns with the brand guidelines and creative goal. Research, test, and implement new technologies and workflows to enhance efficiency and creative output. Demonstrate a strong interest and comfort level discussing and experimenting with AI tools (e.g., generative image/video models) and their potential application in motion design. Work closely with creatives, technologists, marketers and producers, etc. to interpret project briefs and provide technical and creative solutions.
