Senior Consultant- Finance at Four Recruitment- Specialising in Part Qualified/ Qualified Finance Recruitment in Manchester
An established and fast-growing manufacturing company based in Bolton is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career, within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support operational and strategic planning, drive performance analysis, and enhance profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report on and analyse various operational costs including materials, labour, non-conformances, and maintenance spend etc
* Perform month-end variance analysis and spend reviews
* Prepare management accounts packs- reporting on profit improvement
* Produce profit improvement reports and analysis.
* Coordinate departmental budgets and compile the business plan pack
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support with streamlining finance processes
Requirements:
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
