Title: Groundworker\n\nRate: £20-23 an hour, weekly pay\n\nLocation: Leeds\n\nContract: Temporary ongoing\n\n ,\n\nThe Role:\n\nExperienced groundworkers needed in Leeds! We have an immediate opening for skilled groundworkers to join a demolition project in Leeds City Centre.\n\nThis is a opportunity to work on a high-profile site with a reputable contractor, offering a competitive hourly rate and an ongoing temporary contract.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSite preparation and clearance, including breaking out concrete and foundations.\nAssisting with the safe dismantling and removal of structures.\nExcavation work for new foundations, drainage, and utility routes.\nLaying drainage systems, concreting, and general groundwork duties.\nOperating various plant machinery (if ticketed and experienced).\nAdhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.\nWorking collaboratively with the site team, including demolition operatives, engineers, and site management.\nMaintaining a clean and safe working environment.Requirements:\n\nProven experience as a Groundworker, ideally within a demolition or heavy civils environment.\nValid CSCS Card is essential.\nRelevant plant operative tickets (e.g., Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride on Roller, 360 Excavator) are highly desirable and will command a higher rate. \n\nIf this sounds of interest to you, submit your updated CV today!
