We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Behaviour Mentor to join our primary team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils’ learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups
* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (including SEND, where applicable)
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion
* Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and personal development
* Assist with playground supervision and school activities when required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential)
* A positive, patient, and caring attitude
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – desirable)
