We are looking for a reliable and experienced Block Buildings Manager to work for our successful client - a prominent and innovative group company based in London Waterloo. Duties include managing the daily operations, maintenance, and compliance requirements of residential and/or commercial property. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the property is safe, operational, and well-maintained while providing excellent service to residents, tenants, and stakeholders.
About the Role
The Block Buildings Manager will oversee the daily operations and ensure the property meets all compliance and maintenance standards.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building, including maintenance, security, and cleaning services.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations.
* Manage service contracts, contractors, and suppliers to maintain building standards.
* Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets and service charge accounts.
* Conduct regular inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
* Handle tenant and resident inquiries and concerns efficiently.
* Maintain records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Building / Property Management role.
* Relevant professional qualification (preferably RICS or equivalent).
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Fire Safety legislation, and building operations.
* Experience in service charge budgeting and management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
