Manager, Commercial Advisory and Assurance (Major Projects Advisory) - Construction
Base Location: London, Manchester, and Birmingham, with a network of 20 offices across the UK.
The KPMG Major Projects Advisory Team, within Infrastructure Advisory Group and part of Deal Advisory, partners with clients to support decision-making on strategic, financial, and commercial issues across various infrastructure sectors.

What will you be doing?
Providing clarity to Boards, Executives, and SROs on project delivery for major public and private sector programs across sectors such as energy, transport, oil and gas, defense, health, housing, and education.
Our team comprises specialists with deep construction industry experience, working both in the UK and overseas. We are expanding and investing in our team during a period of growth.
What will you need?
Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, with backgrounds in accounting, audit, commercial management, quantity surveying, project controls, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or assurance roles in client or public sector organizations. Experience on-site or in advisory roles is valued.
The role requires:
* Understanding of cost drivers in construction projects
* Knowledge of factors impacting project performance
* Client or stakeholder experience
* Experience in drafting and reviewing assurance documents
* Ability to operate in political and confidential environments
* Experience managing junior colleagues
* Quick assessment skills for new data and situations
