Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) Required in Croydon, Surrey for Family Run Crash Repair Workshop
1. Pay: Starting from £45k Basic + incentives
2. Hours: 7.30 - 5pm Monday - Friday + breaks throughout the day
Are you an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor looking for an exciting opportunity in Croydon? Our client, a well-established family-run crash repair workshop, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team. This position offers a chance to work in a busy, friendly environment with excellent earning potential and room for progression.

3. Starting salary of £45,000 per annum with negotiable pay depending on experience
4. Potential for bonuses after a three-month probation period

6. Full-time permanent position, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
7. Working hours from 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with scheduled breaks throughout the day
Duties of the Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA);
8. Assess vehicle damage accurately and efficiently using Audatex and Autoflow systems
9. Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and colleagues to facilitate repairs
10. Assist with technical enquiries both in the office and in the workshop
11. Support reception staff and provide an extra set of eyes in the workshop environment
12. Help manage the workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs and assessments
Requirements of the Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA):
13. Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or estimator is essential
14. Proficiency with Audatex and Autoflow systems is highly desirable
15. Knowledge of bodyshop operations and repair procedures
16. Local individuals preferred, with a good understanding of the Croydon area and surrounding regions
17. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to work
