About Our Client

Job Description
As the Assistant Accountant - Treasury, your responsibilities will include:
* Management of cash-flow forecast, populating with live information gathered from across the team and reporting weekly on cash position
* Support Financial Controller with management of fixed term deposits and review of market rates
* Oversight of banking transactions across central and service bank accounts
* Responsible for accurate preparation of weekly banking transactions journals
* Responsible for review, reconciliation and upload into accounting system of all petty cash
* Key role in setting up weekly BACS and Faster Payments
* Production of monthly bank reconciliations as part of month end, identifying any reconciling differences
* Month-end reporting on status of bank accounts including central, service and client accounts, highlighting cash position and any areas of concern
* Month-end reporting on direct debits schedule
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant - Treasury professional should have:
* Proficiency in handling financial transactions and reconciliations.
* Strong accounting skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Familiarity with cash management systems and software.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
* A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial discrepancies.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
