Title: Associate Director, Global Loan Syndications (GLS) – London, UK
Position & Team Overview/Highlights:
The GLS team works alongside banking teams in London and Dublin on pricing, structuring and documenting loan facilities, which may include underwriting, marketing and distribution in primary and secondary markets, as well as managing ongoing agency relationships.
The Associate Director will work with senior bankers across a variety of different transaction types, will generate their own relationships with market peers and buyside accounts, and will be hands-on in managing day to day loan agency processes internally and externally.
What You’ll Do:
• Liaise with all relevant parties to deliver RFP response to customers/prospects
• Provide banking/GRM with transaction analysis/opinions as appropriate
• Act as primary interface with customers, external counsel and market counterparties as admin/security agent.
• Build and maintain market network to source primary/secondary/distressed intelligence
• Liaise with internal/external counsel and market on loan and loan trade documentation and advise banking/GRM on current market standards.
• Assist the Head of GLS with all aspects of pricing/structuring/marketing/distribution and reporting of best efforts/underwritten loan syndications. Provide regular reporting for underwriting/bridge loan transactions
• Utilise Syndtrak/debtdomain/Loantrak tools to manage agency, syndication and trading tracking and communication.
What You’ll Bring:
• Strong Credit background.
• Good working knowledge of loan documentation
• Networking skills
• Understanding of loan operations and the role of an agent.
• Some sales experience would be beneficial
