Position Title: Personal Assistant (Waking Nights and day shifts)
Location: Mansfield, Nottingham

Salary: £13.57 per hour (weekday) / £14.89 per hour (weekend). Hours: Part time. Reference: SOLOFDS/LDS
About the Role
We are twin young men with complex health needs, living at home with our family and a friendly dog. We are socially energetic and enjoy activities, including listening to music and spending time outdoors. We rely on our wheelchair and other equipment to mobilise at home and in the community and require supervision throughout the night due to our health needs.
We are recruiting a Personal Assistant who can support with waking nights and day shifts, including all aspects of personal care and clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic, friendly and reliable, able to work as part of our team and take direction from our dad. Flexibility, composure, and the ability to think on your feet are essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide waking night and day-time support across personal care and clinical tasks as required.
* Support with daily living activities, mobility, transfers, and engagement in activities.
* Work as part of the family team, following guidance from the dad and maintaining a safe, calm environment.
* Remain flexible to meet changing needs and respond promptly to emergencies or health changes.
About You
Experience of working with complex care. Full training will be provided to meet our complex health needs; however, it would be beneficial to have experience of Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) and Epilepsy.
