Scotland largest Independent bodyshop are now recruiting for Panel Beaters / Panel repair technicians to join our successful team. Candidates will ideally hold a valid ATA or NVQ equivalent.
Hours of work are between Monday and Friday with flexible hours offered, salary is up to £80k OTE, dependent on experience.
Successful applicants will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to the manufacturers' repair methodology, utilising modern equipment and techniques. You will carry out a professional and efficient repair to all our customers vehicles.
The main duties of the role are:
11. Applying the correct technique to repair all types of vehicle damage whilst following the manufacturers repair methodology.
12. Strip all necessary parts to repair any related damage or replacing where necessary.
13. Where necessary attend training courses to enable you to be updated on new techniques and further your development.
14. Looking after all company tools, equipment and customers vehicles with due care and attention
15. Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
16. To be aware and adhere to all company and Health and Safety regulations
To be effective in this role, you will have:
17. A recognised qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair.
18. ATA – Senior Panel accreditation (preferable not essential)
19. Previous experience working within a vehicle body repair role.
20. A team player with excellent time management and organisational skills.
21. Working to the highest standard with a knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques
A Driving licence is essential for this role.
