Job Description
Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Production Manager to start work on a 6 month contract starting ASAP as detailed below:Experience required:
* Previous production management experience
* Engineering and manufacturing experience (complex low volume high value production is ideal)
* Demonstrable shop floor/cell leadership with exposure to ISO 9001/AS9100
* Capable of supporting capacity planning, workflow sequencing, and bottleneck removal.
* Comfortable enforcing standard work, build discipline, and compliance requirements.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, routings, and change notes.
* Confident communicator able to lead and manage from the front
* Understands low-rate defence manufacturing realities (documentation, audits, compliance).
* Can work effectively with engineering, supply chain and planning
